WebMail displays the wrong time an e-mail was delivered. Print

  • 2

Problem:

The webmail application allows you to set the timezone it displays regarding when an e-mail has arrived based on your time  preferences. By default, SmarterMail sets the time zone to GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).

Solution:

This can be changed by logging into your WebMail account at http://mail.youdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name) and complete the following steps:

  1. Click the "Settings" menu item and then click "My Settings" from the dropdown menu.
  2. Select the appropriate time zone for your location.
  3. Click "Save".

Time should now accurately reflect the time e-mails were delivered in your time zone.
