For SMTP Authentication, make sure that your Mac users have Outlook Express 5.02

2. Go to the "Servers" tab.
3. Click the button labeled "Click Here for Advance Sending Options"
4. Click the "SMTP server Requires Authentication" check box.

Note: By default, the box "Use Same Settings as Incoming Mail Server" is checked
5. Check "Log on Using" instead of "Use Same Settings as Incoming Mail Server".
6. Type your Account as you email address In the "Account ID" box

1. Open Eudora.

2. Scroll to the top of the list and select "Getting Started".
3. Complete the following fields:
- "Real Name" - The name from which any e-mail sent using this profile will display.
- "Return Address" - The address from which any e-mail sent will display
For example: bob@YourDomainName.com - "Mail Server (Incoming)" - The mail server your incoming e-mail will go through.
- "Login Name" - Your user name (i.e., if your user name is bob@yourdomain.com, then login name is "bob").
- "SMTP Server (Outgoing)" - The mail server your outgoing e-mail will be sent through.
Note: You may use your ISP's outgoing mail server, or your email server, which will be (mail.YourDomainName.com). - "Allow Authentication" - Check this box if you want to be prompted for a password when you check your mail.
- Click "OK".
